INTRODUCTION
Welcome to “The mystery of the walking statues” series.
In this series, we will follow two young adventurers, Anna and David, as they try to solve the mystery of the walking stone statues
Anna is a 12-year-old student. David is also 12 years old, and he is new to the school. Anna and David quickly become friends. They are both very curious and enjoy discovering new things.
One day, David tells Anna about a faraway island. The island has many big stone statues, and the people who live there believe the statues can walk.
Anna and David read many books about the island. They also ask their parents and teachers questions. These conversations make them even more curious, so they ask their parents if they can visit the island themselves.
On the island, Anna and David visit the places where the statues are carved and the places where they stand. They learn many things about the local people and listen to their stories about the walking statues.
Follow Anna and David on their exciting adventure while learning new English words and grammar.
