Last Saturday, Emma and her friend David went to the shopping mall to buy clothes.
The weather was turning cold, so they needed some warm clothes for the coming winter.
When they arrived, the mall was busy.
Many people were walking around, looking for good deals.
Emma said, “I really need a warm coat, and maybe a scarf.”
“My old coat is too small now.”
David nodded and said, “I need some shirts for work.”
“I also want to look at shoes if they are not too expensive.”
They walked into a big clothing store.
A shop assistant smiled and asked, “Hello! How can I help you today?”
Emma replied, “Hello! I want to try on a coat.”
“Do you have this one in medium size?”
Emma tried on a dark blue coat.
It was soft and warm, but the sleeves were a little long.
She looked in the mirror and asked David, “What do you think?”
David said, “It looks nice! The color suits you.”
Meanwhile, David chose three shirts and went to the fitting room.
Two shirts fit well, but one was too tight.
He decided to buy the other two.
Emma also bought the coat and a red scarf.
Before leaving the store, they found socks on sale and bought some pairs.
After they paid, Emma said, “Shopping makes me hungry.”
“Let’s get something to eat.”
David agreed, and they walked to a noodle shop inside the mall.
They talked about their new clothes and felt happy with their shopping day.

Emma试了一件深蓝色的外套。
外套很柔软也很暖和，但是袖子有点长。
她照着镜子，问David：“你觉得怎么样？”
David说：“看起来很好看，颜色很适合你。”
同时，David选了三件衬衫，去了试衣间。
两件衬衫很合适，但是第三件太紧了。
他决定买另外两件。
Emma也买了外套和红色的围巾。
离开商店前，他们发现袜子在打折，就买了几双。
付了钱以后，Emma说：“买东西让我饿了。”
我们去吃点东西吧。
David同意了，他们走到商场里的面馆。
他们聊了新买的衣服，对他们的购物一天很满意。
