We use images and simple English definitions to explain new words. Our method does not use translation.
New words in each episode are underlined, clicking on it will take you to a visual dictionary.
Selecting a word or a passage (with a mouse, or finger on mobile device) will let you hear the pronunciation.
Links for similar videos are provided for those who wish to hear natural, human pronunciation of the same words or similar phrases.
It is suggested that the reader watch the video first; then read the Text and/ or Transcript (when provided); then watch the video again, to test their understanding.
A self-test section is provided for immediate or future reviews of the vocabulary.
