Official Walmart Returns Policy

At Walmart we take you a satisfaction seriously; with the 90-day satisfaction guarantee.

Most items can be returned or exchanged at any store.

Be sure to on to hang on to your receipts; they make refunds and exchange easy.

You can use the mobile app to save your receipt, or simply use Walmart pay.

For fresh guarantee refunds, you just need to show your receipt.

Start to return in the Walmart app and save the trip to the store.

There’s no need to bring back deli, bakery, meat, or produce items.

And price adjustments can be made for 14 days.

Here are some refund fundamentals:

Refunds with receipts are easy. Just bring your receipt with your return. If you paid with a credit or debit card, you get a card refund; if you paid with cash, you get the cash back.

No receipt? No problem just show you ID with your return. Return up to $25 get cash refunds. And return over $25 are refunded to a gift card

For returns and refunds, some restrictions apply.  Of course we’re happy to help.

As always, be sure to save your receipt!

Receipts are required for all electronics returns.

Certain items like WIC and snap purchases, open or used air beds and open or unlocked cell phones,  can only be exchanged in store.

Some returns are not allowed, for customer and associate safety.

There are no returns on certain sporting goods. No return on certain health and pharmacy purchases and no return on prescription drugs, pseudoephedrine products or diabetic supplies.

Is something you bought under recall?

Any recalled item can be returned at any time, regardless of condition, for a cash refund.
