The power of speech:

Words are powerful.

Soothing words can heal people. Mean- spirited words can kill people. 

Words from a revolutionary can change the world.

Words of a despot can destroy the world.

And words  are free, all you have to do is to use them well. 

Speak clearly so people can hear you. Choose your words carefully so people are impacted by you. Choose your tones and rhythm carefully so people remember what you say.

Chinese and Vietnamese are well trained to pronounce the tones, but have lots of difficulties with certain consonants and English vowels. On the opposite side, most Westerner are very good at pronouncing the consonants, but have enormous difficulties with tonal accents.

That is because our tongue and mouth muscles are not trained to produce those sounds.

To speak with less pronounced accents, you need to train your tongue and mouth muscles.
