Definition: a basic product or raw material, such as oil, rice, or coffee, that is traded in large quantities. Or something useful or valuable that people need.

Examples:
Rice is an important export commodity in Vietnam.
Coffee is a major commodity in international trade.
Time and water can be very valuable commodities.
