Definition: the sound usually a song or someone’s voice is nice to listen to.

Examples:
The singer has a melodic voice so I like listening to her song.
A car horn is not melodic, everyone hates listening to it.
We heard the melodic sound of birds in the morning.
Soft melodic music played in the café.
